Let's Talk About SEX

So he’s wearing his

Red /     White         /   Black

hightops with the tongue pulled

Out /     Down        /         Inside out

and it’s cool.

It is the only cool thing about him, except for his

Bright -     Warm        - Sunny

smile that makes you feel like you’re his

Friend          / Lover.

But the wonder is
WHY?

Because he makes you feel

Warm -      Fuzzy     -          Throwup

feelings with his smile?


A little more than that I presume.

He seems sweet—nice in a
squidgy-round-the-edges
type of way. With his floppy hair in front
and that tweed coat,
but moreover
THE SMILE.

It makes you

Sweet -      Kind     -         Nostalgic

for childhood friends when platonic was all that there existed, except on Thursday when everyone played catch-and-kiss.

These days its kiss and catch;

Chlamydia   /      Gonorrhoea / Herpes

and everyone is much more careful about the whole
kissing
thing because now we know where the kiss leads—
into

your / his / hers / our

pants.

It’s mostly about HIM reminding me of an old friend,
but then he fucked someone in my home and we sort of fell out of touch
I guess.

Still that smile brings back memories of when it was all simply catch-and-kiss,
platonic and sexless. Warm paddocks bathed in the sunshine and two differently sexed kids picking


Daffodils /    Dandelions          /            Daisies.



It was a decent enough time.
